DeepChill has the ability to remove 15-20°c in 60 seconds, eventually bringing the temperature down to 32°F / 0°C. This prevents the broccoli from wilting or yellowing.
DeepChill's round crystals retain moisture for sustained freshness. Broccoli is packed in wax-lined containers, then filled with Deepchill slurry. After the water has drained, the broccoli is left in a densely packed container of DeepChill crystals.
